Info: The Art Gallery of Algoma (AGA) is a provincially-incorporated public art gallery that aims to exhibit, collect, preserve and interpret visual art. The AGA connects the community to the artist to inspire, educate and make everyone feel welcome. The AGA strives to bring the best cross-sections of historical and contemporary regional, provincial and national art to its audiences, raising public awareness and appreciation of the visual arts in everyday life. The AGA's permanent collection includes more than 5,000 works and the calendar features rotating exhibitions of regionally, provincially and nationally-known artists. A family of educational programs and courses provides artistically-inspired learning to all ages. Minutia - a tributary of arcadia coffee house - is now open at the AGA from Wed. to Sat. from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. serving coffee, tea, cold drinks and baked goods.
