Walk about it, talk about it - Downtown
Did you know that Downtown Sault Ste. Marie, from Pim Street to Dennis Street along Queen, is home to 271 businesses? Some businesses have been here for years (Muio's, Savoy's) while others are newer arrivals (Panache, Greentheme). We've been averaging upwards of a dozen new businesses a year for the past three years! Plus, we're particularly proud to be putting out the welcome mat this fall for Algoma University Residence. Downtown - we're part of your history.
Please make note that three pedestrian laneways in the Downtown are currently under construction: linking Brock parking lot to Queen, the foot of March south of Queen and the connecting walkway between the King lot and Queen. These laneways are undergoing a 'make over' to provide you with safer walkways that each sport a different theme. As soon as work gets underway, we'll be posting photos of their progress!
