The Sault Blues Society (SBS) is pleased to present international Blues artist “Miss Emily” on Thursday August 31st at Soo Blaster where Mike Blair 705Live Sound does an awesome job on the sound production!! “Miss Emily” calls Kingston home and has 3 Maple Blues Awards (2020 female vocalist and Sapphire Award and 2022 female vocalist) she was also nominated for a JUNO award in 2022. “Miss Emily” opened for about half of Downchild’s cross Canada “The Longest 50th Anniversary Tour ever” in 2021/2022 to very enthusiastic audiences. She also performed in Sweden and Germany in the spring of 2023 and various US cities.

Miss Emily will have her 6-piece band including sax and keyboard with her for the Thursday August 31st show at Soo Blaster. Doors open at 6:30pm show starts at 7:00pm sharp.

The local opening act for “Miss Emily” will be the new to the Soo band "Mike Mudfoot McDonald and the Muckrackers" this band is Mike McDonald lead and vocals, Al Davis harmonica and vocals, Pierre Anthony bass and Tony Santoro drums.

Sault Blues Society memberships will be available for purchase at this show for $25.00. Purchasing a membership helps the SBS with the daily operations of the Society and allows paid members early notification of upcoming shows and local Blues charity fundraisers and access to premium VIP tables for our ticketed shows.
